Several changes to the draft plan released for review in February of this year were made as a result of public input provided both online and at meetings held in five communities across the region.
The plan includes a new open application process, new service categories, new operating plans, a new fee schedule, and a monitoring program.
Applications are now being accepted for those interested in providing the following services to park visitors: transportation (road-based) tours, photography, day hiking, skiing, biking, towing, motorized boating, and non-motorized boating.
A copy of the CUA plan and information and permit application materials are available online at http://www.nps.gov/yell/parkmgmt/cua.htm. Interested businesses may also contact the park’s Concessions Management Office at 307-344-2271 orYELL_Concessions@nps.gov for more information.
