Safety measures include, packing warm clothing, a winter survival kit containing traction devices, a shovel, saw or ax, flares, flashlight, food and water, and matches in your vehicle. Log trucks will be hauling logs throughout the forest so drivers need to be vigilant when travelling on forest roads.
