The popular Hart’s Cove Trailhead is located on Cascade Head Road (FS Road 1861) within the Cascade Head Scenic Research Area, six miles north of Lincoln City.
Visitors will still be able to drive Forest Road 1861 to access the top end of the Cascade Head trail and the Nature Conservancy Trail, but are asked to be aware of heavy truck traffic during this time.
“We regret any inconvenience that this may have on people wanting to access the Hart’s Cove Trail”, said Hebo District Ranger, George Buckingham. “Work at the Hart’s Cove trailhead will improve water drainage that is currently impacting the trail and also improve parking conditions”, Buckingham added
