Travelers are advised to drive with extra caution while Lorengo and Sons Logging conduct work on the Georgetown Lake Roadside Hazard Reduction (RHR) hazard tree removal project. The logging company will remove approximately 119 acres of hazardous trees affected by the mountain pine beetle to improve public safety along these roads. Georgetown Lake Road #406 may be closed for short periods while loggers are working to provide for public safety during logging operations as the road is very narrow with steep banks. Travelers should contact the Pintler Ranger District for specific information regarding this road. There will be heavy truck traffic along these roads and along Highway 1 through Mar. 31, 2013.
