The bridge has been closed to stock use because of the failed stringer however; with the onset of the construction activities’ navigating this area, especially with stock, has become even more difficult. The Pintler Ranger District recommends that people and stock avoid this area, and find alternative routes to access the Anaconda Pintler Wilderness. As construction progresses, trail closures may be necessary to provide for public and worker safety. It is anticipated that completion of the repair work should be done by the end of October depending upon the weather.
