Work on the bridge had been postponed one week as contractors awaited the arrival of a crane large enough to lift the new span, which had been built along the side of the highway, into place over the river.
Contractors plan to position the crane on Monday and set the new span in place on Tuesday. Additional work will continue through the week. Some traffic delays next week may exceed one hour. OR 138E is limited to a single lane of traffic through the project area. Watch for flaggers around the clock.
