Management options currently being considered include reducing services at some of our more remote sites, increasing fees to reflect current pricing in other areas, providing concessionaire managed recreation sites, converting sites from developed to dispersed, and minor improvements at selected sites.
A series of open house meetings will be held in November to discuss alternatives. Following is the schedule:
· 11/8 – Grangeville, ID - Senior Center – 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
· 11/13 – Orofino, ID - Supervisors Office – Lochsa Conference Room – 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
· 11/14 – Moscow, ID - 1912 Center, Arts Workshop Room – 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
· 11/15 – Kamiah, ID - EMS Building – 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
At each location there will be a brief power point presentation outlining the alternatives. This power point will be available throughout the open house for individual viewing. Forest staff will be answering questions and will have comment sheets available.
