The Danskin Trail Maintenance request for $41,000 would fund signing and trail maintenance for 20 miles of trails through the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund and the Motorbike Recreation Account. Work would include improving water drainage, tread work, brushing and sign installation. Forest Service trail crews, Youth Conservation Corps members and potentially some contractors would be involved with the improvement effort. This project would be completed in the fall of 2013.
The Roaring River Trail Fire Rehabilitation would repair 6 miles of trail that was within a severely burned area of the fire. This grant request of $35,800 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle fund and Motorbike Recreation Account would be used to reestablish trail tread, remove trail hazards and install water drainage structures. The project would be completed by late fall of 2014 and is supported by the Boise Ridge Riders and Treasure Valley Trail Machine Association.
