Evacuation Stages description: “Level 1, 2 and 3 Evacuation Status is akin to a ‘Ready, Set, Go’ level of evacuation notices: Level 1 asking residents to be ready to evacuate if conditions change, Level 2 means residents should be set to go at a moment’s notice, and Level 3 means authorities are advising residents evacuate because their homes are in imminent danger.” The Level 1 alert is a notification that wildfire is in the area, and the level of danger rises from there.
The Idaho Dept. of Environmental Quality air quality advisory remains at the rating of “unhealthy” for Idaho and Clearwater Counties until significant improvement. The definition guideline for “unhealthy” is: 1.5 – 3 miles visibility, sensitive people should avoid prolonged or heavy exertion. Everyone else should reduce prolonged heavy exertion.
