· The Industrial Fire Precaution Level for Zones 675 and 680 is Level 2. This means that woodcutters can cut firewood in these zones but must shut down their saws at 1 p.m. Woodcutters must abide by the rules stated in their woodcutting permit (remain in the area one hour after shutting down their saw to watch for any potential fire starts from their chainsaws and carry the equipment listed on their permit.).
· Campfires are prohibited on all national forest lands on the Chelan, Entiat, Wenatchee River, Cle Elum and Naches Ranger Districts. This restriction includes developed campgrounds, wilderness areas and special sites such as group camps and summer homes under permit.
· On the Tonasket and Methow Valley Ranger Districts, campfires are allowed only within designated campgrounds and in the Chelan-Sawtooth and Pasayten Wilderness areas.
