The largest of the three fires is the Wolf Creek Fire at 125 acres and is located on BLM lands that are under the Payette National Forest fire response area. The Fire is just east of the Snake River, 8 miles west of Mann Creek Guard Station. See attached aphoto.
The Split Creek Fire is 1 acre and located northeast of Lick Creek Summit, north of the Split Creek trailhead on the Krassel Ranger District.
The White Rock Fire is also on the Krassel Ranger District, 2 mile west of the South Fork of the Salmon River, and approximately 10 miles north of Warm Lake. This fire is reported at ¼ acre in size.
All fires are being staffed with firefighting resources. Stage 1 Fire Restrictions are in effect across the Payette National Forest and forest visitor should be very cautious while recreating.Members of the public interested in receiving fire information updates are asked to send an e-mail request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
