Expect to see dump trucks hauling gravel, logs trucks carrying odd sized and long loads, and excavators working in the creeks.
During the first three weeks of August, delays of three to five minutes will occur along the South Umpqua River, Forest Service Road 28 in the vicinity of the Narrows and Francis Creek.
Two dispersed camping sites will be closed during this project. Sites affected include Francis Creek and a gravel pit past South Umpqua Fall. The duration of the closure is expected to range from one to two weeks.
