Visit our award winning pollinator garden, pick up free brochures on attracting pollinators, contribute a work of art to our sidewalk chalk art project, and enter a drawing to win a beautiful, full-color pollinator poster. All ages are welcome!
The Kelly Creek Pollinator Garden was started in 2011, upon receipt of a US Department of Agriculture pollinator grant. With planning help from the local Valley Garden Club and numerous volunteer contributions of materials and expertise, the start-up funds were used to transform the visitor center entryway from a bland monoculture of grass, into an inviting showcase of flowering art.
In 2014 the garden was awarded first place in the Northwest Division of a pollinator garden competition sponsored by the National Garden Clubs, Inc.
