Fremont-Winema National Forest Park Ranger Mike Pakes will lead the hike. Pakes will lead discussions along the hike that will include different approaches to wilderness management and how trail maintenance is performed within the wilderness setting.
Participants are asked to meet at the Varney Creek Trailhead at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
