Hamilton, Montana (August 31, 2015) – The Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests have issued an area closure prohibiting “human entry” into lands managed by the Forests. This means that forest users will not be able to access the Forests from the Bitterroot National Forest using the Magruder Corridor Road (#468), which begins about 1 mile south of the West Fork Ranger Station (18 miles southwest of Darby, MT).
The closure is a precautionary measure due to extensive and severe fire activity.
