We invite you to Family Day, Saturday---September 20th, 2014 from 10am-5pm. (September 18-19 are reserved for scheduled school groups only). Note: the festival is not open on Sunday.
Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery, 12790 Fish Hatchery Rd., Leavenworth, Washington.
Note: Salmon Fest is located just two miles away from the “Bavarian Village” of Leavenworth, the Ultimate Christmas town (featured on “Good Morning America”).
Salmon Fest is a free event held annually, celebrating the return of Pacific Northwest salmon to their native spawning grounds. The festival has garnered national awards for excellence and is devoted to engaging families in fun-filled “edu-tainment”, a venue that is both educational and fun at the same time.
Salmon Fest’s mission is to connect people of all ages to nature by helping people discover and appreciate the diversity and importance of the great outdoors. Our location in the Icicle Valley is a prime spot to enjoy both nature’s stunning beauty and the interconnectivity of nature within our lives, and to gain an understanding of the cultural significance of salmon to all people.
Come and join us for the 24th year and have a spectacular weekend of fun, outdoor recreation, and “edutainment” at Salmon Fest 2014. For further information swim to our website: www.salmonfest.org
Hosted by the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery, The Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, Chelan County PUD and Friends of Northwest Hatcheries.
