“I am excited about the level of interest in the 10 year stewardship contract, and look forward to the discussion, so that we can move forward together,” said Malheur National Forest Supervisor Teresa Raaf.
The Forest Service recently concluded a series of four pre-proposal meetings that explained and clarified the contract requirements of the 10 year IRSC. During those meetings and in written comments, the Forest Service received multiple questions and concerns that were unrelated to the contract requirements and were deferred from discussion. The July 23 video-teleconference meeting is intended to address those questions and concerns. The meeting will not address or cover elements of the IRSC requirements.
