Phase two of the project will still take place in June or July over approximately one week and focus on paving and striping of the expanded parking area.
The trailhead will remain open with limited parking Monday through Thursday and be fully open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Expansion of this parking lot is the first step in implementation of planned congestion-management strategies outlined in the Delicate Arch/Wolfe Ranch Site Plan signed by the National Park Service (NPS) Intermountain Regional Director on November 3, 2014. These strategies are intended to more efficiently manage visitor use in the Delicate Arch/Wolfe Ranch trailhead area.
This project is being funded by fees collected at the park’s entrance station and campground as authorized by the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act (FLREA).
