Approximately 300 racers and spectators are expected for the event that would include overnight camping, band and dinner at Red Lodge Mountain Ski Resort. Only existing roads and trails would be utilized and organizers are responsible for all health and safety measures, as well as any pre and post operations.
As part of the Beartooth Front, this area is managed for a diversity of developed recreational opportunities. The Beartooth Ranger District is requesting comments by August 29, 2013. All comments will be used in the development of an Environmental Analysis as required by the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969.
