Due to a decrease in fire activity on the northwestern flank of the fire, the Idaho County Sheriff’s Department has reduced the Stage 3 Evacuation Request for Orogrande and Concord to a Stage 2 Evacuation Warning. Residents are reminded dangerous conditions still exist that may threaten residents and/or residences. Residents should be fully prepared to leave at a moment's notice. Persons with special needs, mobile property, and (under certain circumstances) pets and livestock should not be brought back into the area until the affected area is under a Stage 1 Alert or until all restrictions have been removed.
The Crooked River Road (#233) is still impacted by active fire and falling snags and rocks. The Crooked River Road remains closed to the general public at the junction of Highway 14. Residents are still allowed access; however, delays of several hours may occur.
