Public safety is extremely important to fire and Forest managers as they work to fully contain the Butte Fire. Currently, the fire is approximately 90% contained and fire crews have mopped up (extinguished all burning materials) 150’ from the fire’s edge. All remaining road and area closures will be lifted as soon as possible.
