Road closure signs will be posted at highway intersections and the closure will not impact the Skalkaho Creek – Jerry Lake Trailhead #503.
The Forest is replacing a culvert at this location with the new bridge along with doing road repairs and improvements. The current culvert is not sufficient in size and during high runoff may pose potential risks to the road. Besides increasing stream flows, the new bridge will also help improve the passage of fish and other aquatic organisms.
