We receive press releases daily from the agencies and organizations that follow: national forests, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, United States Geological Survey, USDA, EPA, Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service and state wildlife agencies. We also publish environmental press releases from organizations such as the Western Watersheds Project, Idaho Rivers United, Idaho Conservation League, Save Our Wild Salmon, Earthjustice, and the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership to name a few. We do not turn these press releases into news stories, we publish them as is to provide you with source information that should be taken with a grain of salt because it has not been transformed into a more balanced news article. However, this site is loaded with information that will help you in making decisions and in allowing you to participate within your government on a number of subjects. There will likely be something that interests everyone being published on this site every day, make sure you check out the Salmon River Mountain Press News page where all the news is first published.
