The surface deck and backwalls of the Elder Creek Bridge need to be replaced. In order to complete this work, Forest Service Road 3300-000 will be closed at the site of the Elder Creek Bridge. The road closure is about 18 miles south of Paisley, Ore.
Bridge repair is a critical component of maintaining the transportation system within the Fremont-Winema National Forest. Replacing the surface deck and backwalls of the Elder Creek Bridge will help maintain its structural stability.
The road closure will remain in place until improvements are complete. The project is expected to take two days.
During this two day project, forest visitors are encouraged to utilize their Motor Vehicle Use Maps for alternate routes.
