Red Lodge, MT - The Beartooth Ranger District, Custer Gallatin National Forests will be accepting appointments for 35 Personal Use Post and Pole Permits starting Friday, March 6, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. Personal Use Post and Pole Units are located in Benbow, West Rosebud, West Fork of Stillwater, Main Canyon, Ingles and Red Lodge Creek drainages. A limited number of permits will be available in each drainage during the months of May and June only.
Each spring permit appointments are made on a first come, first served basis. Interested individuals should contact the Beartooth Ranger District beginning on March 6 for scheduling appointments; permits will then be sold in person by appointment only on Thursday and Friday, April 16 & 17, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
