"To really enjoy savoring the fish you bring home to eat, it's important to know how to keep the meat at its freshest and how to clean and prepare the fish properly," said Ivy Santee, aquatic education coordinator for NDOW. "An ill prepared fish isn't worth the time to pre-heat the oven."
The Wild Fish cooking class is scheduled for Saturday, June 21 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Technique Restaurant at Le Cordon Bleu. The cost of the class is $40 per person. Participants will learn tips and techniques that will help them take fish from the lake to the table and make meals they'll be proud to serve family and friends.
