Species affected: Sockeye and summer chinook salmon.
Effective date: Immediately until further notice.
Locations: Columbia River and tributaries from Priest Rapids Dam upstream to Chief Joseph Dam.
Reason for action: Salmon marked with floy tags and/or one or more holes (round, approximately ¼” in diameter) punched in the tail have been anesthetized during various studies and should not be kept or consumed.
