Eagle Valley Reservoir - Are you a trout angler? The action is very fast right now, and the reservoir boasts three subspecies of trout: rainbows, browns and tiger trout. Anglers can also catch largemouth bass from this impoundment.

Western Nevada:Truckee River - This is a great time to be on the Truckee. Since February, about 20,000 trout have been stocked up and down the river. It is not a secret where the trout are stocked. Fish trucks are big vehicles and most bridges across the river are favored spots where trout can be quickly placed in the river.

Eastern Nevada:Wildhorse Reservoir - Anglers have been getting up to Wildhorse and catching fish averaging between three and five pounds. Most anglers are using worms or worms with marshmallows. Fish were found along the state park beach to the mouth of Hendricks Arm as well at the mouth of the canyon leading to the dam. With the water temperatures hovering in the mid 50’s, the fish have become very active.
