The meeting will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2015, from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the Black Hills National Forest Supervisor’s Office, 1019 N. 5th St., Custer, SD.
Forest Service personnel will present an update of the current situation, provide background information and answer questions.
“Co-locating the Hell Canyon Ranger District office with the Supervisor’s office will provide our public with improved services by having a one-stop-shop experience in Custer,” said Black Hills National Forest Supervisor Craig Bobzien.
The Hell Canyon Ranger District office was constructed in 1936. The building has served the Forest well over the years but is no longer an adequate work space able to the meet the needs of the District today.
